Got back from a trip to Bansko in Bulgaria the other day, no idea I was going until 2 days before..never lost so much dignity on one trip, funniest holiday ever. Only took the handheld camera but here are a few shots regardless.

Having only ever been to eastern Europe once before (if you can class Prague as that) it was an experience, first thing I saw out of the airport was a three legged emaciated dog hobble past. Its very easy here to take the amenities and facilities we have here for granted, driving past peoples homes that are endlessly repaired and for the most part falling apart somehow. Dead dogs at the side of the road. People living in conditions no one should have to put up with.

On the slopes it was interesting (interesting/scary?) to see people just walking up and down the piste, dogs either snapping at you riding past or having to dodge the crap they inevitably left on the slope further down. But for £25 a day to board, you can just suck it up.

So a few photographs below, more to come later from other cameras I hope. Thanks again for the invite guys.

I love adobe lightroom

Another pretty good session, didn't feel to great but got some nice photographs taken I think. Two posts in one day - stoked. Hopefully have some street images up soon if it carries on getting warmer. Been shooting without a flash for the past few weeks, partly because mine's broken but its just nice not having to mess about with it. The film speeds on 3600 so hence the noise, but with a bit of post production I'm pretty happy with how these are looking.

Clark's finished the latest SBM web edit, and had another good session at Boardroom last night. Stoked the bike nights becoming a regular thing! Photographs from last night will be up shortly

Perspective

Found this shot from Edge and liked it too much to keep it hidden on my hard drive - it got me thinking about how much your perspective changes with time. Would I have noticed this image when I was in the park last, four years ago? I kinda doubt it. Exiting to think what will come into your viewfinder in future though.

So through some set of circumstances, Edge (or Boardroom) has started having the odd bike night. Its pretty sweet to be back in the building that I last rode inside when I was 17, and it felt more like a jam than a normal session - luckily the next session's on the 8th January, stoked.

New years resolution = to post more!
